2014-2015 Season

Exorior

Tuesday May 5th, 2015, 7:00pm – Wright Theatre, Mount Royal University

From the ashes of the fire we will find a renewed spirit and the power to soar again. “Exorior” featured a wonderful mix of music that explored the idea of “rising from the ashes”. Movement and dance featuring Gessuri Gaitan explored the idea of breaking free, and aerialists Patrick Chan, Tyler Ayers, and Meaghan Wegg visually pulled, twisted, and soared above the stage in this multi-disciplinary collaborative performance aimed at exploring the mythological story of the Phoenix. In addition to our feature dance and aerial artists, we were joined by singers from Cum Vino Cantus and the Savridi Singers.

Journeys

Saturday June 13th, 2015, 7:00pm – Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary

Sometimes in looking back we are able to glimpse the road ahead. “Journeys” was a look back to our history as we shared the stage with some of the artists who have helped to shape our identity as choral arts ensemble, and an exciting look to the future as we embark on the next chapter in our chorus’ history. We were joined by special guests Graeme Climie and Canadian Pop artist, Luba!
